TRICA Inspires Kids through Art, Inspires Pettitt Group to Give Back
By living in a community with a vibrant culture, we are able to be the kind of place that lifts up those around us. Having a strong, vibrant arts community makes Boise a better place for everyone to live, work and give.
The Pettitt Group real estate team supports art in all forms. We believe that art creates community, which is why each month we choose a local non-profit organization to support.
We are excited to announce our support for the Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Art (TRICA) in January 2018. We will give $100 per transaction to TRICA this month, or a minimum of $1,000 (whichever is greater).
“The arts have a unique and profound power to inspire children…”
TRICA is a non-profit that offers arts education programs to the children of the Treasure Valley. For over 23 years, the community has experienced the value of TRICA in schools, libraries, and anywhere there are children ready to be inspired. With the opening of TRICA’s Center for Learning and the Arts, the number of children able to be served will be conservatively tripled by expanding existing programs and launching new ones. TRICA is filling a gap, teaching our local youth important values and skills through dance, music, and multiple disciplines of art.
TRICA is founded on the principle that the arts have a unique and profound power to inspire children toward a higher standard of excellence, a superior education, and a belief in themselves that will pour over into every other area of their lives. TRICA’s mission: to provide meaningful experiences in the arts taught by outstanding and loving educators, inspiring the children of the Treasure Valley to develop attitudes and values contributing to a stronger sense of community, humanity, and good will.
We are excited to continue to grow and serve and LOVE where we live! Learn more about our Community Giving program and see all the 2018 non profit organizations here.Posted by Andrea Pettitt on
