Just Listed! Ten things I love about 6455 W. Biathlon in Eagle, Idaho
I am so excited to bring 6455 W Biathlon to the market in Eagle, Idaho! This home is a wonderful mix of beautiful design and incredibly livable location. There is so much to love about this home--I thought I'd share ten things I especially love.
This is a dream kitchen! The quartizite and concrete counters, imported hardware and designer lighting create a kitchen space that is elegant and incredibly current. I love the Wolf appliance package that includes the top-rated six-burner range and high-tech double ovens. The built-in Sub Zero fridge top-of-the-line and adds to the feeling of luxury and elegance. The farmhouse sink is as charming as it is functional and the cabinetry and finishes are luxurious and cutting-edge.
I love, love, love the Belgian Farmhouse style of this home! The vibe is both cutting edge and classically timeless, not an easy feat. Highlights include the limestone exterior, natural timber and mix of natural elements and modern finishes. In a world of cookie cutter houses, this home is anything but. As a builder’s Parade home, the finish selections are next-level, creating a home with true wow factor.
If I set out to create a perfect floorplan, this would be it. I am in love with the layout of this home and I wish I could wave a wand and make my own home this functional. At the heart of the home is this spacious, open, great room that is as cozy as can be. From there, we have the primary owner’s bedroom on one side of the home and then separate wing with two additional, generously sized bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Upstairs is a fabulous bonus room with a dedicated half bath. Every space is beautifully finished and highly functional. Both the great room and the owner’s suite open to the backyard patio. Perfect!
Exceptional Interior Finishes
This builder went all-in with professional interior design for this interior. The effect is cohesive, intentional, and current, carrying through the Modern French Country aesthetic. Every choice from counters to tile to knobs and light fixtures are uniquely chosen for each room, with special care to consider the function of each space and how it interacts with other spaces in the home. I love the playfulness of the choices in the upstairs powder room and the serene feeling that the wallpaper in the guest suite. The primary suite is a work of art with a gorgeous marble surround in the generous shower, spa-like tile selections, and mirrors and lights that create a finished look that could be out of a design magazine.
One element of living I’ve come to appreciate in my nearly 30 years of homeownership and 20 years selling real estate is how important aesthetic beauty of a setting is to homeowner happiness and long-term satisfaction. When we are surrounded by beauty and nature, we are happier. If we can get out to take a long walk and enjoy views of sky and water and greenery, we thrive as human beings. Legacy is an extra-special neighborhood with incredible landscaping and neighborhood amenities including first-class swimming pool, tennis courts, walking paths, lakes, fountains and gorgeous hanging baskets and planters. From the moment you enter the neighborhood, you find relaxation and peace. All of life’s amenities are within a short 12 minute (or less) drive, and the location is incredibly quiet.
Private Lane & Side-Entry Garage
This home is sited at the end of an exclusive private lane. Since this lane is not a through street, the setting is, very private, peaceful and quiet. From the front yard, you’ll love the view to the neighboring lake as well as fully landscaped common area. Garages matter in terms of livability for homeowners. Large, thoughtful garages allow owners to achieve a higher level of organization and ease. It’s the first space you see when arriving home and the experience of easy parking and extra room adds to enjoying this home. This garage is well-planned, offering dimensions that are extra deep and extra wide. The fully finished, painted and trimmed interior includes to windows for natural light and the epoxy floor is easy to maintain. There is an electrical outlet all ready to go for an electric car and plenty of room for cars, bicycles, storage and more.
This home doesn’t stop at what’s expected—it offers many unexpected extras that make it one of the most comfortable homes I’ve ever toured. There are built-ins everywhere including drawers and shelves and nooks offering the perfect place for everything. There are multiple built-in desk zones that allow each occupant to have an easy hub for technology and personal items and a butler’s pantry off of the kitchen. This home offers easy, elegant, intelligent storage for absolutely everything which makes for a simple life.
The mudroom features a side door to the yard and is a natural space for pets. The bright and functional laundry room is so great! I love how it is just off the master closet and also adjacent to the mudroom and storage area near the garage. It creates for a highly practical flow of “behind the scenes” activities in the home, keeping laundry, pantry, pet items, mail and other necessary spaces clustered together in a thoughtful way. Not to be left out, the laundry room also features gorgeous finishes and beautiful windows.
The wooden beams in the great room are truly stunning. They add warmth and a sense of history and home. The stone fireplace that anchors the greatroom is both dramatic and cozy, a true statement element that anchors the space. The vaulted ceilings and abundant windows also add architectural depth.
I love all of the ways to enjoy the outdoors at this property! This is a beautifully landscaped back yard with large patio and pergola. There is a walking path that runs behind and this home then backs to an stablished acreage property, enhancing a sense of privacy. With the view to sky and trees in the distance, this setting offers a feeling of Idaho expansiveness. I would have so much fun setting up dining and living options on this patio, making it an extension of the interior living spaces.
